DIY U: Build a Personal Learning Plan

What we're up to now:

• Redesigned DIY U on P2PU to focus on the first part of the edupunks guide: building a personal learning plan.
• We use the P2PU challenge model because it encourages participants to build something and show their progress.
• We have two academic researchers (Brown University & Boston College) who will research participants' experiences.They plan to run monthly calls with participants and conduct one-on-one interviews. 

Next:

• We would like to create a follow-up challenge based on the second half of the edupunks guide that help users demonstrate their value and get an actual credential for their work. 
• We are interested in developing badges for DIY learners.
