AGENDA!
- Content Focus
- Eric: Music making--where is this emphasis?
- Goal: sitting in control booth, not the performer?
- Widest swath of people interested in music might be a more general audience?
- Intro to music making would be the gestures of music--melodies, bodies in space
- Expertise is fluid--value doesn't necessarily come after the 10 years--it can have value in everyday pleasure
- Audience--are we going after
- A wide swath of people to make people love music
- Values: playing, sharing, dancing, getting people excitied--making a community of makers
- More experienced people who can refine their understanding of music to get better about the making (and who already make music already - and share it, and who apply the learning practices we are talking about above already)
- Blair: think about this course as more of a pilot?
