25 October Community Call
All Hands
The General Idea:
We work, for an hour, together, on something. It might be tagging or de-spamming, writing static copy or doing course reviews. If you have something to suggest for one of these sessions, let us know on the Etherpad.

All Hands on Deck
Activity:
- Tagging. Users can't find out courses if they're unfindable. One way to help is to create more tags.
- Process:
- Log in to the admin interface. Link? Or just our personal accounts?
- Under "Projects" select "Groups"
- Click on the numeric code next to a new course.
- Scroll down on the description page and the 3rd field from the bottom of the page is the "tags" field.
- Enter a range of comma-separated tags.
- For tagging guidance, check out http://www.flickr.com/groups/central/discuss/2026/ - it's about photos but the general priciples are the same...
- Badge Reviews
- We have a lot of badge submisisons needing review in the Webcraft courses - please take a look at these submissions and start making approvals...
- New course UX:
- Go to http://alpha.p2pu.org/en/courses/create/
- look around a bit
- and create a new course at
- go to Content(admin) tab
- add some content and look at the preview
- Feedback:
- I have an etherpad with ux notes, will add mine there (I think it's good for people to leave feedback separately)
- VMG has also left extensive feedback directly to Dirk :)
- Navigation feedback:
- Tab navigation should be the same even if you go to a content item
- Q: do we need to always show the course sidebar?
