Status
- Made huge progress on platform (P2PU tech lead, and open source community in place). Beta is online and on track for full migration in June 2011, ahead of original schedule.
- Currently hiring a Product Manager to provide overall leadership on courses, content, community, communication
- In the process of rebooting the learning model to address motivation challenge for course organizers
- Reframing the learning model: increasing flexibility to support traditional courses through to flexible study groups.
- Spinning off badges work into separate project
- Received Hewlett Foundation grant for work on assessment and analytics (needed for badges)
- Submitted ~4.3M USD proposal to Department of Labor OER grant program
